Wallets and settlement

Understand Access402 project wallets, receiving addresses, USDC settlement, and fund access.

Project wallet

Access402 creates and assigns a dedicated Coinbase EVM wallet to each project. Customers do not paste a seed phrase, private key, or arbitrary receiving address into an adapter.

Payment destination

The authoritative project wallet address is inserted into payment challenges and revalidated during settlement. An adapter or client cannot substitute a different payTo address.

Sandbox uses test USDC on Base Sepolia. Live payments settle directly in USDC on Base to the project wallet; Access402 does not collect payments into a separate platform balance for later payout.

Accessing funds

Customers currently access and manage project funds through Coinbase. Integrated Access402 bank cash-offboarding is planned but is not available today.

Balance display

Dashboard balances are cached to avoid excessive public RPC calls. Use the refresh control when a newer balance is needed. A rate-limited balance query does not change the underlying onchain funds.
